Woman stepping outside a café, her photochromic lens visibly darkening from indoor clear to outdoor tint
How photochromic works

One lens, two conditions.

A photochromic lens reacts to UV light — staying clear in normal indoor lighting, then darkening automatically in sunlight, and fading back to clear once the wearer is back indoors. It's one lens doing the job of a prescription pair and a pair of sunglasses.

  • Clear indoors, tints outdoors
  • Reacts to UV, not just brightness
  • Available across seven colors
Colors

Seven photocolors to choose from.

Each photo splits the same lens — clear on one side, fully activated on the other.

Woman's glasses lens transitioning from clear indoors to grey-tinted outdoors

Grey

Neutral — dims brightness without shifting perceived color, the safest all-purpose choice.

Woman's glasses lens transitioning from clear indoors to brown-tinted outdoors

Brown

Boosts contrast and edge definition in variable light — a common pick for driving.

Woman's glasses lens transitioning from clear indoors to green-tinted outdoors

Green

A balanced middle ground — lifts contrast a little without distorting color as much as brown.

Woman's glasses lens transitioning from clear indoors to purple-tinted outdoors

Purple

A fashion-forward option with a gentle, cool cast.

Woman's glasses lens transitioning from clear indoors to blue-tinted outdoors

Blue

Mostly a fashion and comfort choice — softens harsh light with a cool, calm cast.

Woman's glasses lens transitioning from clear indoors to pink-tinted outdoors

Pink

A warmer fashion option — softens harsh light with a gentle tone.

Woman's glasses lens transitioning from clear indoors to warm amber-tinted outdoors

Ambermatic

A warm amber activation, brightening flat or overcast conditions — best suited to low-light and night vision.
